Clean Fuels Platform calls for investment in clean fuels in upcoming STIP
The Clean Maritime Fuels Platform called on the European Commission to develop dedicated maritime funding windows for the production, distribution, and uptake of clean maritime fuels to decarbonise the sector in its upcoming Sustainable Transport Investment Plan (STIP).
The Platform has welcomed the global climate agreement reached at the United Nations’ International Maritime Organization (IMO) in April 2025 and encouraged the EU to pursue its efforts to ensure the final agreement is adopted in Autumn.
