Grimaldi takes delivery of 10th ammonia-ready PCTC
In mid-April, the Grande Tokyo, a new, ammonia-ready Pure Car & Truck Carrier (PCTC) was delivered in Shanghai to the Grimaldi Group.
As informed, it is the tenth vessel in the fleet designed to be “ammonia-ready,” meaning it could be converted in the future to run on ammonia fuel. The ship was built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Company Limited and China Shipbuilding Trading Company Limited, part of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and is the last of seven similar vessels ordered.
