Biogas facility gets underway at the Port of Gothenburg
As announced on 26 May, construction has started on a liquefied biogas facility at the Port of Gothenburg, developed by Nordion Energi.
The plant is designed to help Swedish biogas producers connected to the gas grid access new markets by converting biogas into a liquefied form, making it easier to transport and use in sectors beyond the grid, especially shipping, heavy transport, and industry.
