BGN orders two dual-fuel VLGCs capable of transporting ammonia
BGN signed a contract with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries on 5 June for two dual-fuel Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs).
The vessels are designed to run on conventional fuels as well as lower-emission alternatives and will also be capable of transporting ammonia. According to the company, each vessel will have a cargo capacity of 93,000 cbm and will be built at the Korean shipyard, with delivery expected by 2029.
